Style, reliability and useabilty - a Quattroporte in an exceptional condition and documented history.
The Munich Maserati dealer Auto-König imported the car in June 1985 from Italy. She was sold to the owner of a fur-clothing dealership. First registration was on 6.6.1985. In September 1990 the car was taken off the road due to reasons of age and put into a heated storage.
After his father has passed away the son took the car again in operation in May 2006. But due to a massive engine damage he was only able to drive some few hundred kilometers. As the estimated costs of the repair exceeded 30,000 euros, he decided to put the car back into the heated storage for some further 5 years.
The current owner was able to acquire the car at the beginning of 2011. Following he mounted a mass-market V8 engine (MB 117) + new automatic transmission. Since then the car has been driven for some 17,000 kms. Moreover the complex electronics were overhauled. The entire modification, including the 255 tires were registered by the German TÜV and added to the car's papers. 2013 the car was foiled to protect the original (brown) paint.
The car is equipped with a contemporary Blaupunkt Woodstock radio (4x25 watts) with mp3 connection. Moreover there is a second set of Campagnolo wheels with winter tires.
Due to the conversion the Quattroporte has got a 'daily driver ability', without reducing the fun. All TÜV/MOT without a hitch. P/X or swap considered (2 seater, e.g. MB SL)
